Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that delivers those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of the search. If you contact us, we receive the information in that message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Our host may create normal server logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review aggregate information to maintain the service and understand use of its pages. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement.
How We Use It
We use this limited data to operate and repair the service, measure traffic, and improve reference pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
You may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data a website retains. We keep very little, so a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and ordinary server logs, then removing information found where appropriate. Use the Contact page to make that request. New Jersey public records are governed separately by the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, P.L. 2001, c. 404, principally codified at N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.; requests to alter those records must go to the custodian.
Policy Changes
We will post any revision to this policy here. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
